Ruby joined her husband in the company in 2005. Having grown up on a stud farm, she loved the outdoors life. She admits she is still occasionally surprised by people's attitudes to a female gardener. Nothing could be further from the truth. Phil says: Ruby is a great asset to the business because some customers - perhaps ladies who live on their own - are reassured by having a woman around rather than an all-male team.

Same experience as the guy above. They went to the wrong house and didn't look at the address I gave them then refused to continue on to my house 20mins away even though I had finished work early to get home as they insisted on no later than 4pm! Then they kept promising to come and quote and then not coming out. last communication was them promising I was priority and they would contact me to come out urgently. That was 3 weeks ago. I would avoid.

I booked a quote for some work in my garden for 1800. I got a call at 1810 to say they'd be 30 minutes late. I got another call at 1835 asking for directions as they were at another house on my street but couldn't find mine, clear directions were given (it's not hard to find and it's clearly signposted). From there I heard nothing back and tried calling twice with no answer. Called the next day from work and was told they couldn't find my house so called it a day then hung up on me. How they're in business with such a terrible attitude is beyond me.
