Race Ltd came from a shared passion for cars. Jamie and Harry had both worked on the performance car and motorsport scene for a number of years when they decided they wanted to work together to create a service that their customers needed. The result was Race Ltd. With their wide range of knowledge and years of experience from machining and fabrication to restoration and motorsport preparation.
If you are the owner of a modern or historic performance road or race car, then you want an expert to take care of it. At Race Ltd we are specialists in a range of performance vehicles and can complete work varying from restoration when you first buy through to race preparation. This includes general servicing from classic to modern performance cars.
Sometimes when our clients first bring a new classic car to us, there is a lot of work to do. From a mechanical recommission to a full restoration either could be the best approach to get the beautiful vehicle back to what it should be. And we have the experience and equipment to take on these big jobs.
For classic and modern car engine tuning, you want to take your vehicle to someone who understands the vehicle and is local to you in Surrey. Here at Race Ltd, we offer engine tuning for classic cars and also for performance vehicles both for road and race use. All of our engines are rebuilt and machined to our tolerances, we can cater for full engine rebuilds to any specification you require.
One of the best things about owning a performance car is being able to attend track days and race meetings. After all, these cars are designed to do more than you can do on a normal road! Here at Race Ltd, we offer a range of race preparation services for modern performance vehicles as well as those involved in classic car motorsport from our base in Surrey.

Taking my Triumph TR7-V8 to RACE for an engine tune was the best decision I have made. Excellent prompt service for a V8 engine tune by very professional and friendly staff who obviously know and love classic cars.
A subsequent recent visit for MOT and service confirmed my initial view that this is definitely the place to go for anyone with a cherished classic car of any marque.

My first time visiting RACE and very happy to recommend them. I took my AK Cobra for a check up and fine tuning (engine, transmission etc) and it drives much better. They're a great team - friendly and clearly passionate & knowledgeable about what they do. A nice drive to get to them too.
