ChristianPaul was established in 2005 by furniture designer Christian Stevenson. Christian has worked as both designer and maker and over the last 10 years has used his understanding of cabinet making to design all types of bespoke furniture. The success of ChristianPaul is based upon relationships.
The relationship built between us and our clients and then our relationship with the craftsman in the workshop. We work in a similar way to an Interior Designer or Architect, working closely with you, our client to produce designs which are individual to you and your home. We then have your kitchen made by our partner workshops.

Services
We are designers and suppliers of high end bespoke kitchens and furniture, both modern and traditional. Based in Cornwall we take on projects throughout the UK, including libraries, studies, media rooms, dressing rooms and bedrooms. From our base by the sea in Cornwall, we design and supply bespoke kitchens and furniture for clients nationwide.
At ChristianPaul we have a wealth of experience in the Arts & Crafts period of design 1880 - 1910 and have designed a number of kitchens and individual pieces of furniture inspired by the movement. Our furniture often has a free standing feel, avoiding the appearance of a 'fitted kitchen'.
We offer the cabinetry in Quarter Sawn Oak, which shows off the medullary ray, sometimes referred to as 'tiger skin' in the timber, paired with details in copper, bronze and stainless steel.Details such as bespoke metalwork, leaded glass, fretwork & hand carving add to the design. Whilst drawing inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement it is essential to recognise that a modern kitchen needs to offer functionality and ease of use.

We regularly work with architects and building contractors directly on new builds and renovations offering full cabinetry packages for an entire house, from kitchens to libraries, and dressing rooms. We work with architects, taking indicative or conceptual designs through to manufacture or liaise with clients alongside the architect developing designs from scratch.
