One Dental Practice currently has 4 dentists: Graham Rutherford, Millar Hunter, Rachel Earith and Meaghan Shankland. We also have a part-time dental hygienist, Elma Beaton, and a fully qualified and registered nursing team. Graham graduated from Glasgow University in 1982. He has practiced in Inverness since qualification, establishing One Dental Practice in 1987.
We aim to see patients as close to their appointment times as possible, but due to treating emergency patients and some procedures taking longer than expected, we do occasionally run slightly late and we thank you for your understanding. Charges will usually be made for appointments that are not kept except in exceptional circumstances.
If you do not give adequate notice to cancel an appointment or fail to attend an appointment, other patients are deprived from the care that could have been available to them. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice should you need to cancel an appointment. If a cancellation is made within the same treatment session as the patient is due this will be deemed as a fail to attend.
Preventive Treatments are things that you can do to ensure your teeth and gums remain healthy including regular Dental Check-Ups and periodic visits to the Dental Hygienist. Preventive dental care will will keep your teeth and mouth in the best possible condition which should minimise the requirement for Restorative Dental Treatments.
Private treatment allows us to spend more time with you and offer you every treatment option available, using the most up to date techniques and materials. This means that you pay at the end of each appointment for the treatment you have received. Monthly direct debits ensure that you are not hit with a big bill for unexpected treatment.

Went ahead anyway, didn't remove all infection leaving me with huge abcess and trip to a and e due to my face dropping like I had a stoke. Had to cancel appts dye to abcess and they threw me off the list. Avoid!!!!!
