Services
Our primary focus is to provide engineering support and test facilities for the development of energy conversion devices in the renewable and low carbon sectors. Energy Technology Centre is located on the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park in East Kilbride and occupies a facility which was formerly part of the UK National Engineering Laboratory.

Energy Technology Centre (ETC) provides engineering support in the aeronautical, mechanical, electrical and thermal engineering disciplines. Our unique set of skills enables our team to tackle almost any engineering problem in the renewable energy and low carbon sectors. Design activities are supported with CAD, SolidWorks, modelling capability and visualisation software.
A suite of versatile test facilities is available to meet a wide range of client development and test requirements including wind tunnel, dynamometers, motoring test facility, hydraulic testing, structural testing, rain erosion testing, steam boilers, cooling, gas turbine, drivetrain testing, rolling road, IC engine testing.
