Rosemary Coldstream Garden Design is an award-winning practice creating stunning gardens of exceptional quality - from city courtyards and roof terraces to family gardens and large country estates. One of the UK's leading design practices, we design gorgeous outdoor spaces, perfectly tailored to suit the tastes and needs of both our residential and commercial clients.
A professional site survey is carried out to assess boundaries, existing features, trees, levels and other measurements required for the design. We undertake our own site analysis to accompany the survey, noting factors that will influence the design. This gives us the opportunity to explore the landscape in more detail recording any information we need for the design.
We love devising bold creative and deceptively simple looking solutions for small spaces - from rooftops to courtyards. Sometimes less really is more! We have designed and developed a huge range of large gardens from imposing formal estates to rambling rustic retreats. Each project presents its own challenges and rewards - we love them all.
Focal points, screening and the use of perspectives can make a small garden feel much bigger. Bold statement pieces such as sculpture or water features can make a big impact. Lighting brings a real sense of drama and luxury to these spaces. And we enjoy devising creative storage solutions that maximise each space to its full potential.
