Beautiful produce, loving prepared utilising Perthshire's finest produce with a Gallic twist. There is never a quiet moment in this kitchen. Simon Howie Butchers pops in with some mighty cuts of beef. The maitre d', needs to know which items on the lunch menu are suitable for a customer who is allergic to onion and garlic.
Barley Bree has six inviting, stylishly decorated bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. Tea and coffee-making facilities, mineral water and Arran Aromatics toiletries are all included. Most double beds can be split into twins. Check in time is 3pm check out is 11.00am. A hearty Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room.

Perfect in every way. From the warm welcome to the best wishes upon departure the barley bree was faultless. The bed was very comfortable and the shower powerful. Dinner was very tasty & just the right amount of food. Even not being allowed a glass of wine due to Scottish covid laws did not dampen the experience. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh and full of local produce. Cannot wait to return. Thanks to all the staff at The Barley Bree

We arrived at 2 pm when kitchen was closing but they were so kind that they let us dine. Much appreciated.
Food was superb. I hadn't had such an amazing dish in a long time: slow-cooked beef shoulder, grain mustard mash and stem broccoli. Meat was so tender that it melted in my mouth. Simply succulent.
