Offered an insultingly low price for my car to trade in. Mechanic who looked at it fabricated things that was wrong with it to try and justify the horrible low offer. If you don't want my car, just say so rather than make up stuff it needs done to it!

I don't know how a mechanic can say a car needs a clutch and flywheel just from listening to it. I told your salesperson that the "noise" was from the timing chain and it had always been like that. Their eyes widened at this point as they obviously realised that's it was. Also when they asked how long I had the car and I told them 5 hrs
