Dedicated to the production and manufacture of fine English furniture, we specialise in all types of hard and exotic woods, our materials being sourced from sustainable forests from around the world. The business was started in 1996 by husband and wife team, Joseph and Karen Patterson and has grown and prospered and is now considered a highly respected business in the Yorkshire area.

Joseph has been making bespoke furniture for over 40 years and has real affection and dedication to his work. He is respected throughout the woodworking industry. Joseph James Ltd also offer a variety of services to builders, interior designers, architects and project managers. Unlike many other kitchen designers, because we actually design and manufacture your kitchen from scratch, we do not expect you to conform to our preconceptions or stock designs.
