Natasha Hardy heads up and is responsible for the day to day running of Practice Cover, bringing her wealth of insurance industry experience to the very specialised fields of Surgery Insurance and Locum Insurance. Natasha's insurance experience covers a wide range of areas, including all aspects of new business and client support, new product development, underwriting, insurer relations, compliance and claim management.
Locum Insurance is designed to cover costs which will be incurred if a practitioner is unexpectedly unable to work. If you're taking out cover for yourself, we'll ask you how much money you would need, on a weekly basis, if you couldn't work. If you're taking out cover for your practice, we'll ask you how much money you would need, on a weekly basis, for each of the colleagues and members of staff you'd like to insure.
Our locum Insurance is designed to cover costs incurred if a practitioner cannot work. It can meet locum costs or can reimburse colleagues who provide cover - and you won't need to provide locum invoices in order to claim. If you're a GP, any payment made from your insurance policy would not affect the payments your practice is entitled to receive from the NHS for GP performers' sickness absence.
If a disabling injury or illness temporarily stopped you practising, how would your business keep going? If you're responsible for part or all your business overheads, it's important to have a solution in place because the bills still need paying, even when a fee-earning business owner is ill. Our Overheads Insurance can cover your practice overheads of up to 3,000* a week, meaning your business can keep going, even when you can't.
Overheads Insurance is designed to meet practice or business overheads if a fee-earning business owner, such as a dentist, cannot work due to illness or an accident. Yes, our experienced staff will advise you on the cover suitable for you and your practice. The policy can be taken out by a fee-based business or practice.
