I had a viewing arranged for today and after 10 minutes waiting at the property I decided to call the agency, I was told to give them a moment to call me back, after couple of minutes one of the agents told me the property was not available anymore and they just forgot to cancel the viewing or to mention it in advance.

Avoid this agency, the worst estate agents ever. They don’t listen to your concerns and problems of the property your renting. I couldn’t shower or wash dishes cause the plumbing was fitted by cowboys, I received food poisoning on several occasions because the fuse box kept tripping as the plumbing was fitted right next to electrics so water was leaking, nothing was done to fix this by the estate agents or landlords. I was blamed for mould!, and spoken down to by members of staff. I’m surprised they passed the health and safety of the property. They are not professional and will try to charge

WORST ESTATE AGENTS !!!!!Pease do not waste your time with these people. As a former tenant I can tell you they are very unprofessional and unreliable. They kicked me out because didn't want to do their end of the contract that we both signed. Also they rented me a property which was a commercial property and not a home property so they didn't have to pay council tax that so I was living illegally in that property for a year without me being aware because according with the contract we both signed council tax was included on the rent.

We are real tenants of Mercer Taylor. This company has treated us with disgusting contempt. When we signed for this property in September 2018 the agent, Jake, came across as genial agent. Giving us assurances that outstanding work, which on initial view could not prevent us from moving in, would be done in the week we moved in. The garden, back and front was overgrown. There were holes in the walls, the painting needed doing, and with the assurance we thought they would be resolved. We were obviously naive. We are the type of tenants any property agent would want. My wife and I are professionals

I really wouldn't recommend using their services if you expect to be treated with decency and respect, especially when you are spending your hard earned cash.
I'm not sure if the other reviewers were paid by Mercer but nothing could be further form the truth of our experience. From Rebecca's dismissive, rude, obnoxious and sarcastic approach. That's if they even acknowledge your emails, if she's not dodging your calls. If I want them to pay attention, I have to go into their offices. And did I say that I'm asking too much by asking them to respond to emails? It has been 16days.

I'm a tenant and recently needed an item of broken furniture removed and replaced. All done with no fuss and bother whilst I was at work, exactly as I wished. Rebecca was especially helpful, calling back and keeping me informed without me having to chase, as is so often the case with other companies. Thank you!

I really cannot stress enough how frustrated I am with the service Mercer Taylor have provided. As a tenant our property is managed by them, and they have consistently failed to help us with essential building works that need doing on the property. This is not helped by what sounds like a difficult landlord, but Mercer Taylor certainly seem to have a policy of lying to their tenants to placate them, and then failing to deliver. I know several others who also rent through them and they have experienced the same issues.
Please take my advice and go through a different agent. This one is not worth
