Malthouse Marketing is essentially me, Philip Huckin, with teams of specialists put together for each project and managed by me to execute your marketing plans. You may have come to us with an existing marketing or business plan, or you may ask us to develop one to help grow your business and your brand.

I have been involved in marketing since 1973 when I worked for Shell UK Oil for five years. Whilst at Shell they paid for me to do a Business Studies degree and later I completed a Diploma in Direct Marketing. Over the past 33 years I have worked on just about every type of market and across all types of campaign, across many countries and regions.
We mostly work for companies that are relatively new or which are growing and need to use marketing to accelerate that growth. These companies often do not have senior marketing people and are not yet ready for this commitment. In these cases Malthouse Marketing will provide a resource that takes the company to the next level of turnover and profits, so it can afford to employ its own senior marketing staff.
The Marketing Audit is often the first job we get askedt o complete by prospective clients. Apart from anything else it's a useful demonstration of how we work and what the marketing tasks and context might be. The Marketing Audit is the process of discovering what's what in marketing terms and is used to ascertain what marketing can realistically be expected to achieve.
Once the Marketing Audit has established the need and the role for marketing we can begin the process of developing a Marketing Plan for your brand that ends up with campaigns for improving your share of market and/or increased turnover and profits. Marketing plans should be constantly evolving processes that are responsive to results and changes in the marketplace.
Although it is most often the case that a company will appoint us with a logo design in place, not all the expressions of the logo may yet be developed, or a potential change of brand positioning may warrant a refinement of the original design. Working with experienced designers we will develop a logo look and feel and all its manifestations in a way that is relevent and motivating, whilst being consistent with the agreed brand positioning.
