Hello, my name is Sue Di Paolo and I set up SDP Bookkeeping after working for 20 years in banking and accounts. My aim is to provide a friendly and reliable bookkeeping service. I left my role as a Finance Manager in a large company where I managed a team of people providing accounts and payroll functions to put all my efforts into SDP Bookkeeping.
This question comes up time and again so we thought it would be useful to set out how we see the two professions. Bookkeeping is a methodical process usually occurring in monthly cycles consisting of entering transactions into journals and preparing reports. Basically it is the recording of data about your business so that accurate financial statements and accounts can be prepared.
