If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid. I have held buildings and contents insurance with them continuously for 21 years, it was set up with my mortgage. They have raised premium levels every year, so have paid £thousands!!. I have never claimed for anything. I recently (feb 21) tried to make a small claim for water damage from old pipework that had leaked. A surveyor came out and declined (their own surveyor to protect their interest) What is home buildings and contents insurance for? S&P love taking your money every month. Yes its one of those things that I should check and compare regularly
