Services
We are able to undertake specialist work and manufacture high quality, bespoke engineered products. Many of our clients have come to us through recommendation by previous customers; such is the quality of the service that we offer. Starting from humble origins working from a small garage, L&G Engineering was formed by Adrian Laurie and David Gowen, who remain very 'hands-on' members of the team.
L&G have full gas safety registration at industrial level, enabling us to carry out a comprehensive gas fitting service. We were recently set the task of devising an effective poultry sanitiser aimed at combating harmful bacteria, especially Campylobacter, in freshly processed poultry. After careful deliberation, we designed a machine that delivers a consistently high temperature of hot water to sanitize the bird.
We're always pleased to work with prestigious local companies, one of the latest being Aspall of Suffolk, a renowned cyder producer. Aspall's first apple orchards were established in 1728 and today the traditional, family firm grows 46 different varieties of apple from which they produce their delicious cyder, pressing, fermenting, blending and bottling the drink on site.
The L and G Engineering team are currently working on a New Multiple Vessel Heating and Cooling Skid Unit for one of our customers, Aeropak of Great Yarmouth. Situated on the Gapton Hall Industrial Estate, Aeropak is part of the Diomed group that supplies topical preparations (creams, ointments, gels etc), over the counter medicines and herbal diet and stress relief preparations.
