At Eastway, we believe that our electrical testing and inspection services are the best way of identifying existing faults so they can be fixed before becoming a hazard. Regular testing of your electrical circuits and appliances is essential for a safe home and business. We are fully qualified to carry out electrical inspections testing on all types of installation, such as lights and sockets, emergency light testing and Earth Bonding Testing.
Formerly called a Periodic Inspection Report (or PIR). A report to establish the overall condition of all the electrics in a building, stating whether it is satisfactory for continued use and detailing any work that might need to be done. An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) involves one our qualified electricians carrying out a comprehensive test of the condition of a property's electrical installation.

Responsive service, came quickly - at £90+VAT an hour ... Reconnected mains supply but the cause of the fault was not diagnosed within the first hour despite it clearly being a faulty water heater. An electrician at another firm quickly diagnosed the fault and came back to repair at a cheaper rate.
[Re the 'Response by owner' given below - the electrician restored power/lights (by flicking a fuseboard switch I didn't know about elsewhere in the building), but didn't diagnose the actual fault (a 2nd electrician found it was a faulty timer and nothing to do with the wiring which was absolutely

Hired Eastway Electrical to rectify a ceiling fixture when the loop-in wiring had been mixed up after the ceiling rose had been changed. Despite this problem being known at the start (it was the purpose of the call out) after an hour up the ladder Delroy left taking payment for the hour saying that the problem would need "fault finding" and would cost more.
At this point, Eastway Electrical had actually been at the property for an hour and so I didn't debate the charges, or indeed feel it necessary to leave negative feedback. However, after having paid for an hour and being right back where we
