Over the last 25 years I have realised that although most Brides- to- Be are excited about going wedding dress shopping there is often an element of apprehension or worry about what to expect. This is why we have included this section. The Appointment section describes what happens at a typical appointment so you know what to expect when you come to Encore Evenings and Bridal.
As a general rule most wedding dresses are cut smaller than high street clothing-the designers and manufacturers tend to work from different size charts than everyday clothes. The size charts they use are based on body shapes from decades ago -women's body shapes have evolved but unfortunately the size charts.
We are not all about Bridal -we also have a beautiful range of evening wear. Over the last 25 years we have dressed our lovely clients for some very special occasions-the BAFTA's, Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace receptions, banquets at the Mansion House, Elton John's birthday parties, charity balls, the Venice Carnival and numerous award ceremonies.

Amanda is absolutely amazing. I had a dress disaster when my seamstress cut my original dress to short (nothing to do with Amanda). I was utterly devastated and with only 3 weeks until my big day,! Amanda was so patient and there was zero pressure. I fell in love with a dress and despite wanting to buy it there and then, had promised myself I would show my mum before making any rash decisions. Amanda very kindly offered to hold the dress for me and get a full quote for the alterations that where needed as well as ensuring the work could be completed in time. What can I say, Amanda literally saved

I went in to encore to try on some dresses. Very helpful and welcoming. I tried on a few and found the one. Was made to feel comfortable with honest opinion on what suited my figure. Really looking forward too going back for dress. Would recommend encore to anyone needed a wedding dress was the second shop I went to and found the one dress 😃

Amanda is not professional person to help with choosing wedding dress. Customer service is not well trained. Amanda is very rude and her behave to me was very not fair. My dress was ripped and Amanda agree to give back money but when I come to collect money she change mind. She was very rude. She try scare me by the police. Definitely not recommend this shop and Amanda too. Very bad experience before wedding

Went here for my sister's wedding dress and the staff are caring, considerate and patient as well as crazy attentive to the nuance of finding a perfect wedding dress - my sister looked like one in a billion and it's in large part thanks to Encore.
