So we're out on parole and hope to gain full release very soon. 12- and 7pm Sundays. The Navigation Inn is a charming country pub and restaurant, set in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, 5 miles north of Stratford-upon-Avon and perfectly situated for a relaxing drink, or quick bite to eat any time of the year.

Freshly cooked homemade food, real ales, and fine wines all help to ensure The Navigation Inn provides a charming location for any occasion. The Navigation Inn offers great value freshly cooked bar meals daily. From traditional favourites such as homemade pies, to sizzling steaks, salads and balti's.
Services
The Navigation Inn is situated on the A3400 on the outskirts of the quiet Warwickshire village of Wootton Wawen. Dating back over 200 years the navigation was originally built to service the needs of the original navies whilst they were building the Stratford Canal, which runs through the pub grounds.
If your looking for something a bit more quiet, formal or something for a special occasion then The Navigation can provide you with the ideal solution. All of the dishes are homemade and cooked freshly, ensuring any occasion is one you will enjoy. Our restaurant can be hired out for private parties and can hold up to 45 people with comfort.
Music at The Navigation Inn, is more popular now than its ever been. We run one night of Traditional Jazz, with John Everets Red Dragon Jazz Men on the second Monday of every month Music Starts 8.30pm. Food is served from 6pm so why not make a night of it. The Bar fills up quickly so make sure your early to ensure you get a seat.
Currant guidelines have limited fun and enjoyment so skittles parties will not be available until we can be trusted to behave safely. If your looking for a fun filled evening then why not try a game of Beer and Skittles? These very popular evenings are a great social event and suitable for any age.

OK there open, but don't go in. Food really disappointing even for pub grub. Fishcakes were bland and not worth the price tag. Service was slow although the garden was only half full. For better service and food go to The View, a little further along the footpath.

What a gem, popped in for a coffee this morning, whilst walking g along Stratford-upon-Avon canal. Lovely canal side pub, couldn't do more for me. If I am ever near there again I will definitely pop in again. You can get your canal holiday narrow boat from there too. What's not to love.

Although we are not local, this is the second time we have been to The Navigation Inn in a month. This time we were able to stop for lunch. It is a great location sitting on the A3400 and as you would expect, next to the Stratford & Avon Canal. Actually this is how we came by this pub as we were on the water and making use of the Anglo-Welsh marina.
This really is a grand pub. Despite being very busy the staff made us very welcome and they made the time for conversation which just makes a meal so much more pleasant. The food selection is good and very good value. We had the Smoked Haddock and

Good honest traditional pub food at a good price friendly staff. Child friendly and scenic surrounds. Nice garden area next to the canal when the weather permits with a decent kids play area. No wi-fi, but that's not why you go here.

A cosy friendly canal side pin. A small however well balanced menu selection. The portions are great. I had the steak pie which was one of the best I have had in years. All local produce. Friendly staff and good beer available.

An old fashioned pub restaurant, we found it while cruising around looking for somewhere to eat. A little tired in decor, it had a charm all of it's own. I ordered the T Bone special and my wife had the Chicken, Ham and Leek pie. Both meals filled their plates, the food was hot and cooked to perfection. Excellent value without the "chain" pretentiousness. Friendly staff and clean, nice smelling loos capped an excellent gastronomique experience.
