Hidden away in the quiet, beautiful village of Timble, nestling in the stunning Washburn Valley, The Timble Inn is a romantic Grade II listed 18th Century Coaching Inn with foundations dating back to 1200AD. Now family owned and for the past 3 years having been awarded a 5 Star Gold Award rating and 2 culinary Rosettes by the AA.
The Inn re-opened in 2010 after five years of extensive renovation and restoration. Since the initial works, the kitchen has also been extended in 2015 to improve the efficiency of our service and since 2016, we have undertaken an extensive "freshening up" of the restaurant, bar area and rooms. No expense has been spared in creating a casually elegant atmosphere in all of the nine rooms where luxury abounds.

Tucked out of the way, this pretty little village Inn is well worth a visit.
Split into cosy little rooms makes for an intimate dining experience.
The staff are lovely .
I went with two of my Sister's on Boxing day .
The food is fantastic . Portions , plentiful & pleasing to look at .
You don't have to wait long either , but , also don't feel rushed . We've dined here before & will definitely be returning.

The staff seemed professional and friendly. We didn’t actually have food here but from what we could see the food looked nice. We were visiting family who were staying at the Timble Inn which is also dog friendly which is nice to see. They have a private area for guests which has a very homely atmosphere. Located very close to some nice walks around also.
