I am an independent female DVSA approved instructor living in Buxton and have been a driving instructor since 2005. I keep up to date with new teaching techniques and adapt courses for each pupil as I understand that everyone learn in different ways and at different speeds.
If you are nervous about starting to drive then don't worry, I am patient and will make the lessons relaxed and fun, so you will quickly develop your driving skills with confidence.

Driving courses are tailored to your personal needs, you can take your lessons in one, one-and-a-half or two hour blocks. You will be taught by a DVSA registered driving instructors in the Norwich area. The Driving Standards Agency has researched that the average learner takes between 40 and 50 one hour lessons with extra practice with a friend or relative to achieve test standard.
In your theory test you will be presented with one case study where you will be required to answer 5 questions that are related to the scenario displayed on screen. The multiple choice test is a touch screen computer test where you'll be asked 50 questions in 57 minutes. The pass mark for the multiple choice part is 43 out of 50.
Intensive driving lessons are becoming more popular with people who do not want to spread the learning process over several months. The course will start with an assessment lesson, where the driving instructor will assess the ability of the pupil and advise on the best course for you. Intensive courses don't suit everyone; they suit those which can't commit to weekly lessons and who have previous driving experience.

Tracy is an excellent driving instructor; she is friendly but professional. I passed my driving test last week. She gave clear instructions and with patience. She allowed me to repeat manoeuvres until I am confident enough to do it in the right way and at first attempt. Thank you so much Tracy.

Tracy at DSI was a brilliant driving instructor. She was friendly and professional. She helped me pass first time and was brilliant at communicating and giving detailed feedback. Her car was an excellent car to learn to drive in and her support made me feel extremely comfortable.Tracy helped me relax during my first lesson and helped me develop at a quick rate. Tracy booked me in for a lot of lessons at short notice something which other instructors wouldn’t do. I would highly recommend Tracy to anyone, especially those in the north of Norwich region!!

Was an amazing first time experience. I was given the trust to go into 5th gear on my first lesson. It’s not rushed so you can take everything on board, process it and understand. Would highly recommend Tracy as an instructor. The prices are so fair for what you get. The precautions that are taken for corvid are spot on. I felt very safe during the entirety of the lesson.

In my first three lessons I quickly picked up the basics, I enjoyed my first lessons as Tracy asked me what I wanted to do as well as getting me to do certain things. We have a reflective log that I fill in at the end of each session to see what I did well and look at particular areas fro improvement. This gives us an idea in our next lesson as to what to focus on. In my third lesson I got to drive to Cromer and back (in a 2 hour lesson) and I enjoyed it so much and it allowed me to really get used to speed limits. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for an instructor.

My first lesson was definitely very different from what most people have experienced due to the current circumstances however the experience was still very enjoyable and productive. I had a two hour session with Tracy in which I learnt a lot and completed more than I thought I would but I felt relaxed and safe during the entire time. The safety precautions put in place were great I felt completely safe in the situation as Tracy had taken the necessary precautions and not risked either of our safety. It was a great first lesson and really well organised even during these times
