Established in Manchester in 2004, Bell Munro Consulting are a Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy. In 2006 Bell Munro Consulting merged with Derek Bell, Smith & Stewart (established 1982) in Newcastle upon Tyne. For the last twelve years our engineers have succeeded in the design of high-quality structures that work commercially, socially and environmentally.
Our engineers offer a proactive and flexible approach utilising the latest construction techniques in our design engineering, resulting in economical and rapid build solutions for our clients.
We undertake structural design in traditional materials such as steel, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, timber and masonry but also embrace the use of innovative materials and construction techniques such as structural glass, glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), cross laminated timber (CLT), glued laminated timber (Glulam), structural insulated panels (SIPS) and insulated concrete formwork (ICF) utilising specialist structural analysis and design software where appropriate.
