Taylor Jackson are a privately owned business first established in 1981. We are Estate Agent and Valuers based in the heart of the Salford community and have provided a first class service for almost 30 years. Our close proximity to the Salford University campus means we are well placed to offer a specialist student letting service with a variety of properties available for students.

Our all inclusive properties are very attractive to students as they include gas, electricity, water rates, and broadband (subject to fair use policy and incentives). We have a successful growing business that welcomes everybody from the buy to let owner with a single property to corporate portfolios of any size.

Taylor Jackson is engaged in a partnership with Glide Student, which is a company that provides a simple solution to the problem of multiple bills for basic amenities within a property. They do this by combining bills for broadband, TV licensing, electricity, and gas into one easy to understand bill.

As a landlord I would say you should avoid dealing with Taylor Jackson. They were dire at best. Totally incompetent as letting agents. Problems we had:
The tenants rent was agreed but he never paid the full amount.
They falsified a Tenancy agreement, we only found this out when we sold the property.
They did not inspect the property.
They held onto money the tenant did pay, we only found out by accident that the Tenant had paid, I am fairly sure had we not found out they would never have paid and their accounting system is dreadful.
They had work carried out for us and we did not get any invoices

Lazy & unprofessional. Highly suggest you do not take your chances with them...
All seemed good initially, the place was freshly refurbished and we had a set move-in date. Only, they gave us the shortest notice that the place was still not ready and told us to wait a day. And they kept pushing back the date several times.
I was essentially homeless for about 2 weeks, crashing at my friend's house while waiting for them to give me an update on when I can move in... What an embarrassing position they put me in.
Finally, we move, only the place still was not finished! Never told us how anything

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
I found myself let down at the last minute by another letting agency and had 2 days to find a property to move into before being stuck completely. Chris and the rest of the Taylor Jackson team found me a property and I was able to move in there less than 24 hours later. Fantastic service.

Found a house just in time thanks to Taylor Jackson ! The house was very lovely, refurbished and has a pretty good location ! The rent is sensible considering all that and truly affordable, even as a student.
The people at the office were always friendly and helped when required. However, in terms of communication they were pretty bad, as I'd never get a reply to my emails and had to call or go there instead. They also never informed us when they would come to the house, so you'd just get home and notice that someone had been in there, which is quite bad.

Honestly terrible customer service as a Landlord. Rent is *always* late, with no apologies. They continuously IGNORE emails and calls asking for information and refuse to give an explanation why rent is late. They are the sole reason why I am selling my properties in Salford.

Our student house was with Taylor Jackson for over a year and from day one they were the most unorganised and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. When we first moved in the house smelt of fish, there was no door on the bathroom and there was evidence of drug use in the house. Over time, we were forced to go 6 weeks without an oven, as it was marked unsafe and they didn't send us out a new one, we had no hot water and were often contacted to say that we owed money that we had already paid. When we visited the office they were rude and unorganised, with packets of cigarettes on their desks

I found the services of Taylor Jackson incredibly easy, professional and most of all friendly. Our agent Chris was a pleasure to meet and view houses with, offering us plenty of advice on the way and sharing his honest opinion throughout. Couldn't ask for more with these agents, recommend!

Don't be fooled by the sign under new management. They were absolutely useless and unprofessional. We had to use legal means to pursue our rent. They never returned our calls when needed. Salford Council knew it. This company is on the watch list. Tenants also complained to us about their incompetence. Glad we left this firm. Wouldn't let them touch our property ever even it is free. A nightmare n students should avoid...... Our horrible nightmare....

They will give themselves excellent reviews. But beware!!! It is a family. So when you hear new management, do not be deceived. Tigers in sheep clothings

Worst Estate Agent in the whole U.K. They deserve a minus 5 star.
1. Very low quality of maintenance that whenever they decide to do repair
2. They have loads of incompetent workmen
3. Workmen are irresponsible and dirty. You will have to clean after them. Some will use your toilet without flushing or whipping it clean the way they met it.

The most unorganised and unprofessional estate agents I've ever dealt with. From the start our contract was done wrong and our monthly payments were incorrect. By the end of the tenancy we had been through 3 contracts due to their mistakes. We agreed to pay trimesterly when our student loans came in but they would constantly ring monthly and ask why we hadn't paid our rent. When ringing up with an issue we would be passed around to every member of staff working there and told to go back to the store or ring up on numerous different days to be passed around again. They allow £25 wifi bill which
