Based in the centre of Bristol, SSR was formed in 1989 to provide niche expertise and wholesale insurance products to meet the needs of clients operating in the security and fire protection industries. We have maintained an exclusive relationship with QBE since our formation, which has enabled us to consistently meet the needs of high risk industries, backed up by excellent service and the security of the worldwide QBE Insurance Group.
We provide brokers with bespoke insurance schemes for niche industries, working with you to make your and your client's lives easy. New for 2021, SSR Combined provides bespoke insurance for specialist industries, combining the very best of our previous Per Capita (for smaller companies) and Main Scheme (for larger or more complex risks) into a single, easy-to-use product.

We've had a dedicated Broker Development Team since 2013, who focus on nurturing our broker partnerships. Our friendly and knowledgeable team would be happy to arrange a meeting or call to answer any queries you might have about working with us.
If you are new to SSR, or haven't dealt with us before, we welcome all enquiries from new brokers. We will then arrange for our TOBA to be issued via REG UK. REG UK will email a copy of our TOBA to whoever is listed as the main contact on your FCA record who will need to sign the document electronically so we can start to trade - it's as simple as that!
