Verbally agreed to rent a property on a Friday morning. I offered to pay a deposit to secure property and was told I don’t need to because the landlord would love to have me and my partner live there.
Then my partner received a phone call on Monday morning saying the property was given to another client.
Please don’t agree to something then go back on it. Just be open and honest.
Waste of time.

We've recently completed a sale with Fletcher & Company and couldn't recommend the team highly enough! We chose to go with Fletchers having bought the house we just sold through them a little over 6 years ago. Outstanding service from start to finish. We were using the Derby team at Pride Park to sell our house. Annette and Michele were quite frankly sublime and after 8 month, 3 buyers and lockdown to deal with, the level of service we had was quite frankly outstanding. Jeremy, who scoped out our house originally and took good pictures, also gave good advice and really cared about the quality of the listing and appearance of the house, he didn't want to rush it, he wanted to get it right before it went live.
