I'm Liz Freeman - member of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and owner of Freeman Accounting Services Ltd. I set this business up in 2003 having decided to leave my previous corporate life of twelve years in pursuit of that elusive work-life balance. I'm not sure if I've completely achieved that goal, but at least now I've only got myself to blame!
Being management accountants, it's just as much to do with the management as with the accounting! Numbers mean nothing unless the context in which they exist is clearly understood. We embrace technology and are always looking for efficient ways of doing things. We ourselves run a paperless office, have remote working and hold all our data securely online.
Cloud computing is the future of all business applications, and accounting is no different. We don't just work with online packages - they don't suit all clients - but where it makes sense, we actively promote them. We have experience of many different online packages - Xero, QuickBooks Online, Clear Books and Freeagent, which means that we can give clear and knowledgeable advice on which cloud software would be the best fit for your business.
We work on fixed fees wherever possible. We are happy to provide a totally bespoke service and price accordingly, but we have also pulled together some illustrative packages aligned to the kinds of service agreements we tend to operate. It's all dictated by client need, so if you don't find exactly what you're looking for below, don't think that we can't accommodate you!
