Qualified in Huddersfield with C Connelly & Co in 1984, and worked as a section head at Simpson Wood in Huddersfield. He then joined Burlinson Stewart in 2000. Joined Burlinson Stewart in 1985, and has many years' experience in all aspects of accountancy. Is a former partner in Burlinson Stewart and still works for the firm on a part-time basis.
