The Reliant Colour team are committed to forming a strong and lasting relationship, built on personal service, quality and trust. We are a "can do" company that rarely loses a client once we have been given the opportunity to provide services and products for them. We continually strive to build a level of service that is focused on the needs and requirements of the client.
Reliant was founded 35 years go as a reprographics company serving the needs of the printing and communications industry. Back then we used real film and scanned images using a drum scanner, before being planned onto foils ready for proofing, plate making and finally printing. This was all before the advent of the Macintosh and digital CTP plate production.
Our litho print room has the latest machinery and technology to produce the highest quality print for our clients. We continue to invest in the latest multi-coloured and in-line coating printing presses and finishing machinery available within our industry. This enables us to deliver the highest standard of products at the best value possible to our customers.
Growing demand for shorter run lengths, quick turn around printed and finished projects prompted us to install our Digital and Document Printing Department. The Xerox J75 digital press allows us to print on a variety of stock weights up to 350gsm board and produce high quality, 4 colour work where litho printing costs can become too expensive for the smaller quantity required.
Our in-house finishing department includes two Heidelberg guillotines, a 20-station Horizon 5500 stitching line for books and brochures, a Heidelberg AFC 544 folding line, 2 x Bacciotine creasing & perforating line, a Jupiter 35 thermal laminator and hand finishing department for wirobinding, drilling, inserting & shrink-wrapping.
