Sinden Thackeray Partnership is a well-established client-friendly firm of Accountants based in Rochester in Kent. Between us we have many years of experience in advising small and medium sized local businesses both on day to day business tasks and on future development plans and helping them to comply with the numerous tax, VAT, payroll, accountancy and bookkeeping obligations imposed upon them by Government.

We prepare self-assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships, undertake self-assessment tax calculations and estimate appropriate payments on account. Our clients range from pensioners where income just exceeds the available allowances to directors and partners with substantial earned and unearned income.

Employers will need to top up the government's contribution, which is now 60% of wages (up to a maximum cap of 1,875) to ensure the employee receives the requisite 80% (up to 2,500). These restrictions have been relaxed slightly in recent years, e.g. However, these rights and the underlying time limits etc. are often a source of confusion.
