We checked into a lovely 2 bedroom lodge at the resort in the Spring. Check in was prompt and professional. We headed to our lodge and shortly afterward the concierge arrived to check on us and to inquire if we would like a lake view lodge. We were pleased to be offered an upgrade and gladly accepted. We moved to the 2 bedroom lake view lodge, which was very lovely. There is a bedroom/bath on the main with a sitting room and bar area. Upstairs was a second bedroom/bath. Both spaces were very generously sized.

When we were in the planning stages of a trip to Ireland, I pulled out a cookbook from one of my favorite Irish Chefs, Noel McMeel and learned he is the Executive Chef of this resort. When I found out he would be at the resort the week we were visiting Ireland, we actually changed around our entire Ireland itinerary to dedicate two days to staying at the resort and

Spent an amazing week at Lough Erne Resort. The food, accommodations and staff were truly reflective of what a 5 star resort should be. My wife enjoyed her experiences at the Thai Spa and the Faldo course is one of the best I've played. Also one of the tougher courses I've played but it's a fair test and adds to the beauty of the resort and surroundings in general. Highly recommend from both a golf and resort standpoint - well worth the travel!

More than Average but less than Very Good.
This is a nice hotel but it's not 5 Star.
It's in a beautiful setting - the lake is beautiful and the golf course looks nice. The interior of the hotel is very nice.
Staff are relatively friendly - reception staff much more so than bar/waiting staff.
Bar food is ok, usual bar food options. Restaurant was fully booked and the menu looked really nice.
Rooms were lovely - it was the smaller details though, towels not changed, nothing in the mini bar, etc that just meant it didn't quite reach 5Star level.
5 Star prices though.

I was fortunate enough to spend an afternoon at the Lough Erne Golf Resort late last year. Even with the rain, the beauty of this resort was obvious the moment I set eyes on it and its surroundings. I can only imagine what it must look like in the summer or early autumn.
I had lunch at the Blaney Bar, where I tried their order of fish and chips. Now, I can't say i know much about fish and chips, but what I ordered was better than any I had experienced in my entire trip to the UK and Ireland. And the view from the dining room was really quite spectacular, as was the selection of Irish

Have stayed here a couple of times. Lovely hotel, beautiful setting. Rooms are lovely, courtyard or lake views available. Allhave free standing bath and super large beds. Well decorated and clean. It has only been open 1 year. Bar has stoped doing lunch menu and now just offers same menu all day. Havent eaten in the restaurant but bar food is lovely.
Staff are friendly and polite. Spa area is great, pool enjoyable and treatments in the spa are no more expensive than other hotels and very relaxing.
Will be back again soon.
