Heron Press UK is a B2 litho printers and digital printers based in Rubery, Birmingham. Offering the complete printing Birmingham service. Our partners set up the printers in the mid 80's so have now been trading for over thirty five years. We are approachable, reliable and customer focused with a pragmatic attitude applied to everything we do.
As printers we are fully aware of the impact our production process has on the environment. We have adopted responsible environmental procedures to ensure that the care of the environment is a fundamental consideration in all spheres of our production operations. We seek to inform and educate our staff and customers about the environmental issues regarding material used in our manufacturing process.
We are looking for a keen, reliable, quick learning apprentice to join their workforce as a training machine lithographic printer. We print leaflets, brochures, business cards etc. The qualification attained during the apprenticeship is - Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Machine Printing (QCF). A level 2 will be completed within an 18 month period and a level 3 within a 36 month period.
High pressure Printing deadlines is what commercial printing in Birmingham is all about. To enable us to meet these critical deadlines, we have two Komori Lithorone five colour printing presses which operate a twenty four hour shift pattern. All our printers take great personal pride with each job ensuring the highest quality print is produced promptly and efficiently.
Our team of print finishers are precise and versatile; they have extensive training in all aspects of finishing both by hand, and using our range of machinery. We are able to provide you with numerous finishes "in-house". These including perfect binding, saddle stitching, folding, die cutting, creasing, drilling, shrink wrapping, numbering etc.
