I first met Paul Hinam in a business environment some 25 years ago. At that time we worked together on a range of design and build projects across a number of sectors. Paul always performed his duties with professionalism and even at that stage had a comprehensive understanding of MEP design and installations.
The Developer CARDIFF CITY DEVELOPMENTS appointed Gallese Design to provide Performance Design requirements. Gallese Design role and responsibility was upgraded to a detailed design role by the Main Contractor Carter Lauren. The client did originally have a 'green' engineering aspiration and agenda.
With previous company and continuing with Gallese Design Paul Hinam has provided Mechanical and Electrical Consultancy Support for Norgine Ltd for many technically challenging projects including, but not limited to clean room HVAC production facilities, clean room HVAC production facilities of existing production lines, infrastructure enhancement, warehouse expansion and new build, new central plant, incoming electrical HV supplies, commercial offices and laboratories.
Gallese Design were appointed by Glamorgan Cricket on a Phase 1 and Phase 2 development of the Stadium from a struggling County cricket ground to a stadium which successfully staged the First Test of the 2009 ASHES series with media attention broadcasting globally.
All systems worked successfully and many accolades from UK and Australian media, players, spectators and corporate event hosts were testament to the tremendous efforts made by the design/client and contractor teams.

Gallese Design were part of a detailed design team successfully appointed by the client to deliver a custom fit out for the client, British Council Wales. Although the client aspiration was to provide 'green' engineering and sustainable features, the M & E design was severely limited in this respect by the landlord systems adopted.
