I'd try Merseyswede if I were you. The quality of the work is excellent, very quick, very thorough. I'm a perfectionist so wouldn't recommend anyone who wasn't tip top. They're very very friendly, always have time for you if you pop by even if they've got a lot of work on. The owner Roy Hedges and Derek are a veritable walking encyclopaedia on Saabs.
Roy himself drives a beautiful T16 convertible. Any reputable garage can carry out servicing and repairs using correct specification parts, this will not invalidate the cars warranty - not just a main dealer, why pay more? You can drive a quality prestige car without it costing the earth, with both great mpg and lower road tax and low cost professional servicing.

Merseyswede is a family business run by Roy Hedges and his brother Derek. Back in 1987 when the business started they felt there was a need for an independant Saab and Volvo specialist aimed at both the enthusiast and general owner wanting a prestige car without the high cost usually involved. Both Roy and Derek both have a great deal of experience, particularly of Saabs.

Roy has been amazing pré purchasing a Saab 900, helping me get my car from the previous owner and getting the Mot. he gave me knowledge on the car before I set off on a 5h drive back to London. He even called me a few hours later to check on my progress and make sure I and the car was doing OK. I wish these guys were nearer to London. Roy went beyond to help me, you don't really get that kind of service these days. If you have a saab or Volvo and live in the Liverpool area, look nowhere else.

Would recommend these chaps to anyone. Great service and very reasonable on price. They managed to replace my rear brake pads on my xc60 in half an hour when 2 other garages I used to use couldn't. Also replaced a front wheel bearing and didn't charge extra when more work was involved. Will now be using these guys from now on.
