Broad Town Cars can be found nestled under the gaze of the chalk horse carved into the hill side of Broad Town, Near Swindon in Wiltshire and is owned and run by the Harris Family who are all local to the area. The business has expanded a lot since its humble beginning and has grown into a successful servicing, repairs, car sales and MOT testing business.
Here at Broad Town Cars we are a family run business. We do not employ salesman preferring to use our vast knowledge and experience in the motor trade to help make sure you get the right car for you. Andrew is in full control of the car sales and has been working 6 days a week since 1983 - Something that as he is getting older he is finding increasingly difficult to do!
Unlike a lot of other small car dealers Broad Town Cars offers a full after sales service in our own workshops. Drain engine oil and refill (special or synthetic oils are subject to an additional charge). Advise if cabin filter is required according to age and miles and last change (an additional charge will apply for supply and fitment of filter).
In 2014 we were looking to diversify in the type of car we offered and were looking to specialise in certain brands or models. The car that we kept coming back to for reliability, value and excellent running costs was the C1, 107 & Toyota Aygo which as most people know are exactly the same car. Since then we have become one of the areas, if not the south west's leading suppliers and repairers of these cars.

Took the Mrs here on the 23/06/2020 to look at their cars...Well what can I say we had a look at a couple of the cars on display and they were both immaculate inside and out,took one for a test drive what a good little runner it was, mileage below 30,000 on the clock it was a silver Peugeot 107 ended up buying it at an excellent price...The owner come car sales man Mr Andrew Harris is a lovely man took us both separately for test drives,then explained that it would have a full service and 12 months MOT put on it and a warranty for 3 months..An excellent service from start to finish... can highly

I don't what to say about this garage but it is raw customer service. Honesty is paramount and it's a very old school traditional feel to how a customer should be treated when purchasing a car or when an issue is being dealt with.
I can't say anything but nice words about Andrew and his approach to us when purchasing a lovely car. When we had a problem that needed dealing with this is when you know a good person and garage when you see one.
Probably one of my best experiences of dealing with a car garage.
There are not many garages or people like Andrew who operate with this type of integrity

1st class garage took our car there for first time as main dealer and several other garages couldn't solve problem, however, Rupert done a brilliant job and now I can keep my car! All staff were very friendly and I was over the moon with price. Would highly recommend and thank u Rupert for an excellent tidy job.

Bought a citroen c1 have since taken car back due to brake noise, they say car has been checked and all is as new condition.
noise still ongoing, checked brake pads and disc myself to find pads very low and scoring on inside of disc, changed disc's and pads and noise gone (so all was not new when inspected)
i know and understand that brakes are not covered by warrenty but to need them changed after only 2000 miles is not right esp when purchasing car they say everything checked and will be sorted

Great service! At the point where I bought a car - I just thought it was reasonably priced (especially given the service and warranty included). When a - very minor - mechanical fault developed they really shone, promptly making time to book the car in, diagnosing and fixing it fast and being very friendly throughout.

What a great little place to buy a car...bought a fiat 500 in fabulous condition and the service couldn't be better. Andrew sorts everything out for you and tells you when to collect and the car will be completely ready and waiting. Ours came with a full year mot...and was shining!
Rupert is in the engineering side of things and also does any work needed. They are all so friendly to do business with and I really do highly recommend this garage...

Both myself and my wider family have been dealing with Andrew for years, we have always been treated well and nothing is ever too much trouble for Andrew and his team.

My wife and I have been using Broad Town Cars since we moved to the village many years ago. We have always found them reliable, trustworthy and incredibly accommodating. When a wheel fell off my Audi S3, they managed to recover the car from the scene and affect the repair with no drama. They have offered us impartial advice on matters mechanical over the years and always provided great service. We will continue to avail ourselves of their services and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to all and sundry.

Initially a positive buying experience but one that was soured when I drove home and realised there was no spare key. This was never mentioned and I now have to fork out a further £96. At the very least I feel this should have been pointed out to me. I did ask for a replacement key to be provided but they refused.
