ASH School Of Motoring is a small independent business est. 1988 and run by Steve Harrodine. We pride ourselves in catering for all pupils needs and deliver the up most in value in driver training. We offer both manual and automatic driving lessons. We are approved driving instructors with the DSA adhering to the code of conduct as well as being fully registered with the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
Held a full ADI licence since 1988 and is on the register of approved driving instructors. Is a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists I.A.M. and has passed the advanced test for cars and motorcyclists. Is a member of the Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents R.O.S.P.A. and has passed the advanced driving test at gold standard.

The Driver And Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) are responsible for all UK driving tests. Before any UK citizen is able to drive a car on UK public roads they must first hold a valid UK licence. Before you can learn to drive a car, moped or motorcycle you must apply for a provisional driving licence.
The theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple choice part and the hazard perception part. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test. Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your practical driving test. The multiple choice part is delivered using a touch screen computer and the hazard perception part records your responses through the use of a computer mouse button.
