Heald Nickinson's history can be traced back over 150 years. The practice was founded in the 1850s by Jesse Nickinson and opened its first London office at Chancery Lane in 1861, then a century later, the Camberley office was opened in 1961. Today we are the largest and most successful firm in the Surrey Heath area.

Had the displeasure of approaching them to aid in the purchase of a commercial property.
They think charging £300 an hour to send a 5 line email then not hearing anything back for ten days without even following up with a call or another email acceptable.
Obviously they were fired and are now refusing to give back my £400 on account so will be taking them to small claims court.
Avoid like the plague, the staff are unprofessional and total weasels.

Why do you register your firm as a legal aid firm for family law on the government site, if you stand by the fact that you do not support family law legal aid? Also strange that I was told government stopped supporting legal aid for divorce, but I called other solicitors and they support it. Receptionist was absolutely rude over the phone. Then tells me they can only assist in a legal aid divorce case if domestic abuse was involved. To which I reply that domestic abuse is involved. And then she proceeds to tell me that they can not help me anyway. She was so rude and unhelpful. Then when I ask

I would definitely NOT recommend this firm of solicitors. In my opinion they were rude, obstructive, created problems instead of suggesting solutions, and made the completion process on the sale of a high value property an absolute stressful nightmare.
Due to my solicitor (Tony Struve, Senior Partner) not processing certain undertakings in time, payments into Heald Nickinson could then not be processed on the day of receipt. Despite numerous urgent emails and attempted phone calls on the Monday after, we were unable to speak to anyone at Heald Nickinson and various fees for additional interest

Positive: Professionalism
We found that the service we got was very professional and they were in constant contact of any issues that arose from the sale of a house, to dealing with Buyers solicitors, to Estate Agents and by actioning the wishes written in the deceased will, an excellent service from Gendy and her team.

Used Heald Nickinson for our recent house sale and new build purchase. They were recommended to us by the house builder and we are really pleased we used them. They provided an excellent service from start to finish. Our solicitor Luke Roberts was brilliant. Always answered telephone calls and emails promptly, kept us up to date on the whole process and settled a tricky neighbour dispute. Moving house is rarely easy or straight forward but Luke handled the whole process in an efficient and professional manner. Would highly recommend and certainly use again.
