Our Philosophy has always been to distinguish ourselves as a surgery that provides dentistry of the very highest quality. Our Aim is to promote oral health. We will listen to you and work with you to provide care that meets the best and appropriate choices for your dental care.
Our practice started at 1 Station Street in 1946 with Gordon Moat. When he retired in 1963, Colin Bullock took over and was joined by Robert Charter and Tom Sholl. The original Partners worked at North Street until their retirement and personally chose their successors who would continue to maintain the strong traditions and values held by the Practice for the patients.
This declaration of costs conforms to the Standards of General Practice required by the General Dental Council, the regulatory body for Dentistry in the UK. Whereas these fees will apply usually, there may be circumstances where variations will occur. Your dentist will advise you if this is the case.
The Dental Team at North street Dental Practice is regulated by The GDC (General Dental Council). North Street Dental Practice operates a complaints process which aims to resolve any issues or concerns. We aim to acknowledge any such concern within two working days and to respond fully within ten working days.
On your first visit to us, we would ask you to arrive at the practice 10 minutes before your appointment time; this is so you can complete a medical questionnaire (PDF ). Recording of an accurate medical history is in the best interests of patients and dental staff alike. It enables us to obtain information necessary to provide appropriate, individualised care for you.

Got referred here by my usual dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction. Couldn't recommend North Street more - aside from chatting & waiting for the injections to take effect the whole thing was done in less than a minute! The staff did a great job of keeping me calm and reassured and gave nice clear instructions about aftercare.

Hello,
I am a very nervous patient and fear the dentist something rotten, today Jonathan removed a tooth for me, I have to say he was wonderful and caring, his team were also extremely lovely.
