After graduating from Surrey University, I joined one of the top national recruitment agencies. Those first 10 years covered a variety of roles, the final 5 of which were as Regional Director for the South, running 13 busy recruitment offices. Armed with this experience I took the opportunity to start an independent agency with the aim of setting new standards in Southampton and the surrounding area.

I cannot day enough good things about Hartley, Rebecca in particular. I have just secured a new job, despite the state of things due to COVID at the moment, which has enabled me to be able to move closer to my family. Rebecca went above and beyond giving me the support I needed to get through the interview and was friendly and positive the whole time! I would HIGHLY recommend using Hartley!! Thank you Rebecca :)

Rebecca contacted me after I had been applying on job boards about a role. I was coming to the end of my furlough scheme and facing unemployment with a baby on the way. She hit the nail on the head with the job role. At first they were not sure about even interviewing me but she fought my corner and persuaded them to hear me out for an interview.
12 weeks later I am in a job I am really enjoying and she is basically my hero!

I started with Hartley after seeing a vacancy which I was too late to apply for they were apologetic, but it was no fault of their own, and recommended I set up a profile. Within a very short time I was contacted by Emma who was a joy to talk too. Professional and polite through out she enthusiastically informed me of a position she thought I would be perfect for and would be fantastic for me. What can I say she was not wrong! Looking for a job these days can be so much more difficult when recruitment agencies don’t call you back, don’t give feedback and are generally unprofessional. Hartley Resourcing is a breath of fresh air, they treat you like a real person and they are proactive. Rebecca Richards was extremely professional and helped me secure a role. I landed my first job through Hartley Resourcing. I was new to the UK, however they prepped me for the uk job market and found me my ideal job.
