Gino recommends an exquisite masterpiece from the finest grapes grown in the thriving area of La Puglia, selected for the finest restaurants. Candied fruit aromas with a hint of honey - the palate is round and soft with buttery tones. A crisp wine with a straw-green colour, noted for its fruity and persistent floral fragrance.

First visit for me along with family for a meal at this wonderful restaurant last night. Can't rate it highly enough. From the warm welcome on our entrance through three courses and wonderful wine we couldn't have had better treatment or been more attentively looked after. Amazing food, beautifully cooked from prawns and pate to veal and halibut everything freshly cooked and served to everyone's taste. Can't wait to go again. Five stars to all the staff. Da Gino did not disappoint last night. The service was excellent and the food and wine were amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had a table of eight with four children between the ages of 2 and 14… who the staff made feel very comfortable. Perfect evening... only complaint is that a wonderful time was over to fast! Can’t wait to go again.

Went for a birthday celebration as a party of over 10 people. Restaurant looked nice and inviting and after waiting for the table for 10 minutes was shown through. First issue - not enough places. Restaurants solution - squeeze grown adults into smaller spaces by adding chairs. Not great. Then after waiting 10mins for the first drinks to be brought over, the waitress and waiter have a row next to the table in resulting in spilling the drinks. This was the tone for the night. Surly, uninterested service, slow drinks service and generally poor front of house. A shame as the food was excellent and

Since Eugenio Cozzi took over this restaurant a few years ago I have seen it improve from good to outstanding, probably because excellence in a restaurant stems from the top, and Signor Cozzi clearly knows how to get the best out of his staff, perhaps because he has been a waiter and cook himself in the past, and still retains his enthusiasm for every aspect of the job - and consequently knows how to appoint good staff. Da Gino is a small, chef owned and run Italian Restaurant with an excellent reputation. The owner, Gino, is very proud of the standards he sets which demand that they cook everything fresh using finest ingredients they can find at the market each morning he told me during my visit. We sat upstairs which was very busy on a Tuesday evening. my other half is half Italian so my food was order for me by her, she likes the opportunity to show off, she impressed
