Worse nights sleep ever, could feel all the springs in the mattress and hear them everytime l moved. Shower was an absolute disgrace, so much mould, that must have taken a long while to build up. Told them about and the response was "we will advise house keeping"

It's ok...it's old and rather shabby, doors didn't feel safe! Staff were very polite and accomodating. It's conveniently placed for use of the A12, Stansted and surrounding area. That's about it for positives I'm afraid. Stains on the upholstery, shower was useless, windows were drafty, old, smelly rooms...it's cheap but not very cheerful I'm afraid, it had a sad feel about it, like retired holiday chalets awaiting demolition.

Very basic rooms. Very jaded. Reminded me of the old holiday camps. Desperately needs a make over. Smells of damp and the windows don't open.

Nice comfy bed, shower wasn't great, underpowered and either boiling hot or freezing cold. One very nice lady on reception, who also served behind the bar, and also served food in the restaurant all by herself! However dodgy beer made me ill, I had 2 pints from the bar before bed and ended up being very sick! Pleasant staff well 1 that I encountered doing every job! Would've been decent overnight stop if the beer pipes were clean.

Room looked tidy but had a funky smell
Everything was old and needed a re fresh
Towels looked like rags
Shower was freezing cold then boiling hot with no in between. Almost took the skin off my back.
It’s just desperate for some investment and elbow grease.
Staff were friendly and accommodating
Given the choice id stay somewhere else but I couldn’t find any other rooms.
