This " employer", showed no respect, no care nor consideration during the covid19 pandemic, they shut office abruptly and issued p45s whilst refusing to furlough their agency staff, pushing many in dire situations both financially and emotionally. The worst part of it was they provided no regard nor guidance apart from telling everyone to ' Sign on with Universal Credit' with their p45.They showed absolutely no interest in keeping a courteous relationship going, ie checking in on loyal staff many whom have been working with them for years. I and many other people I know have have had emails ignored

I personally think JBD is one of the best agencies I have ever worked for despite my current situation. They have been very flexible to accommodate my situation with no animosity from them. I have been working for JBD over a year doing temporary nursery work. It is very good if you like flexible work. I am a parent and JBD has been very effective at finding me a variety of work. They've found work that helps me balance working and parenting.
Since working for JBD I have worked in different settings from a hospital nursery, a church to active learning sites. It doesn't get boring and I have been able to build my skills and confidence. Often I go back to some of the same nurseries and it's lovely to see all the children and staff.

Work for JBD 6 month now, from day one I think it is amazing, very organized team. When I came on an interview in 3 hours my CRB was ready and I was able to start next day. I never had any issues with them regarding work or payment. Everyone is very fair and if you show that you willing to work, you will have plenty of work through this agency! I have started working with JBD recently in nurseries. I am very satisfied with their service and I like the flexibility they offer regarding working days and hours. The registration process is easy and straightforward, they are quick and efficient to respond to any enquiry, the payment is always on time. I have gained great experience working with children from an age group I have never worked with before. The staff at the nurseries I have been in are always very helpful and I enjoy the learning experience from the different settings. I'd recommend JBD to everyone who wants flexibility in working

Lack of communication and no personal service with their recruitment consultants who have a huge turnover of staff but teachers are not informed of these changes. Have been fed a string of excuses which are very testing. Still no acknowledgement from the Director regarding two issues regarding racism I reported to them when I was in a school. Very disappointing service to say the least.

I have been working for JBD for a few months now and I am totally happy to have found such a great agency, really serious and responsible. They allow me to work at my own pace when I can work all week they had booked me for the all week and in the case of cancellation on behalf of the nurseries they had found me another place to work most of the time. This agency is very organised regarding booking and payment, they ask for your availability every Monday and send the options of work for the next week besides the payment had been always on time.
