Established in 2008, The Wedding Room is located in the seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire and has a whole floor dedicated to 100 stunning designer bridal gowns just waiting to be chosen and tried on by you!

We offer the perfect bridal fitting suite which is filled to the brim of sparkly headpieces and luxury veils. This room is completely private for you and up to 5 of your chosen 'bride squad'! Our second floor hosts a large area dedicated to the groom and his groomsmen to get them suited and booted for the big day!

Services
1.5 hours of trying on our fabulous gowns and complimentary soft refreshments on arrival for you and up to 3 guests! This appointment is the ultimate 'bride tribe' experience for a very important bride! 2.5 hours of trying on our fabulous gowns in our private fitting suite, including refreshments and sweet treats for you and up to 5 other guests!
When it came to choosing which designers we wanted at The Wedding Room, we definitely did our research. We wanted award winning designers who could supply a wide range of sumptuous fabrics and quality gowns and accessories to provide the real wow factor when our brides are choosing their perfect look!
Appointments during weekdays are preferred as we work on a one to one basis. We strive to provide great service and a relaxed atmosphere and our private fitting area allows us to give a personal consultation and a fabulous experience. On a Saturday, we operate on an appointment only basis therefore, our shop door will be locked whilst our team are in an appointment.

Before my appointment I was so nervous to go because I am a bigger girl and I thought I would look stupid in the dresses.
But as soon as I walked into the shop Hannah made me feel at home straight away I have soo many choices to choose from and we got the full bridal experience with Prosecco and everything.
I did not know what style would suit my body type so she helped massively in that area and helped me to find what flattered me and what didn’t.
In the end I chose my dream dress and it was absolutely stunning they even have a seamstress in store which makes the whole experience even better

Had the most amazing time with Hannah when we went to try on some fabulous wedding dresses. Service was excellent & so much fun. We were allowed to take in our own prosecco 🥂 🍾 which made it more of a celebration 🎉 Nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience from the moment we were welcomed in to the time we left was fab & I would definitely put this venue on your shopping list of places to visit when looking for the perfect wedding dress 👰
