Services
In our formative years we used an insurance based warranty scheme. Feedback from our customers soon made us realise that very little was covered and that claims were limited; the car also had to be serviced inline with their specified service intervals. The end result was frustration for us and our customers, which typically resulted in us bypassing the insurance company and resolving any issues ourselves.
We use several local garages, who have carried out our servicing and repairs for many years. The garage we use depends on the type of car and nature of the repair. All repairs are carried out to the highest standard, by fully trained and highly experienced technicians. We also use specialist centres which carry out diagnostics and repairs on all makes of cars and prestige marques.

Recently purchased a 2nd hand Citeron from this dealership.
A few lights came on within the first week of purchasing and they took it straight in the garage to be looked at.
The staff are really friendly and seem like decent people!

My husband and I bought a car from Leon Howman Cars about 10 years ago and it was our very first experience with an actual second hand dealership. We had always bought privately before.
I remember the sale because we had just moved to the town and we needed a small car urgently. He was so helpful and was able to offer us the car we wanted, a Nissan Micra.
This car was one of the best runarounds we have had. Nothing went wrong with it and it passed all its MOTs with flying colours for about the next 7 or so years. It was sadly hit by another car and so had to be written off.
We went back to Leon

Having read the reviews, I can now completely relate to the disparity! Extremely friendly and helpful upon the sale of the vehicle to my mum but rude, uncooperative and evasive when there was an issue. A design fault was blamed when there was an issue within the warranty period but the car had two previous owners who Leon claimed he had sold to both customers who never raised the issue that my mum had: this does not reflect a design fault! When my mum purchased the vehicle it allegedly came with a six month warranty. There was no specification as to what the warranty covered but now she is being

Leon was so helpful. I was after a 2nd hand automatic car which are hard to find but Leon went out of his way to let me know about cars that he was getting in before they arrived that fitted the bill. I have been using Leon for all of my cars since 1998, he has never let me down and has always been helpful. At the end of the day you are buying a second hand car, which is always a chance. He offers a full warranty for a limited period and has always been helpful with repairs and service out of this period. I often recommend him to friends and family who have also experienced his exceptional service.
