Foss Digital is a digital marketing consultancy born from the desire to provide knowledge and advice to businesses & agencies in a way that not only helps them grow, but works in innovative and strategic ways. The name Foss Digital is based around a love of all things Icelandic and refers to waterfalls, in fact our current holding logo is based on Skogafoss, which is located in the South of Iceland.

We work in a consultancy capacity with marketing agencies that need support with digital marketing on both freelance and contract basis. We have the flexibility to work remotely but also work out of an agency's offices.

As Search Engines such as Google have evolved, Paid Search has become something that businesses not only rely on as part of their digital marketing strategy but find that by investing in as part of a blended strategy, allows them to accurately forecast a return on investment for their overall spend.

Whilst strictly true, it still amazes me how many businesses get social media so wrong. There are the main platforms such as Twitter and Facebook that in theory give a business the opportunity to broadcast their message to a large number of people who may or may not already be aware of their brand.

Foss Digital is based on a foundation of marketing and business experience which means that we understand your company from both a marketing perspective but just as importantly a business perspective and the impact any marketing activity has on it. The experience we have is originally built from working within the leisure and tourism industry with management of tenpin bowling centres and bars.

We've recently started working with a number of charities and supporting agencies with their digital marketing services for not-for-profit causes. Foss Digital has extensive digital marketing experience across various channels and extending into the social good area has allowed us to demonstrate the benefit that charities can gain from executing well planned digital marketing campaign.

I’ve used Dan numerous times for marketing strategy’s and building two websites for my businesses. He was also a major contributor to the success of my 7 marathons in 7 days charity fundraising, helping me raise over £6000 for The East Cheshire Hospice And ECHO NHS Charity.
He’s always gone above and beyond what I’ve asked for on each occasion!

I wouldn't touch Dan Bell or Foss digital with a barge pole. Took payment of a deposit and didn't carry the work out. Has since ignored phone calls and emails. Unprofessional and downright dishonest.
