Warning! Find yourself a different solicitor.
A three- and half-year nightmare with this firm who was supposed to be looking after my late partner's estate.
I could write a book on the catalogue of mistakes that they made, if you question any mistakes, you get a passive/aggressive response from them. Threats instead of apologies. They have even sent me another deceased person's estate details which list all the beneficiaries and how much each will receive! The solicitor is never there, always on holiday or ill, and he's totally clueless about what is going on. The number of charges for the work

Regarding Lasting Power of Attorney for my parents - In February 2020, my Dad paid Andrew Devanny to complete a LPA for both him and for my Mum. Andrew works independently as a legal consultant. After 16 months, we still do not have the LPA for Dad and Mum's was rejected by the Office of the Public Guardian because Andrew did not complete the forms correctly and has ignored any attempts at contacting him. I'm sick of chasing him. He has taken Dad's money and run; this is fraud! I would recommend that you take your business elsewhere!
