Went for the "Christmas" menu, the meat was nice but the veg was very under cooked and there was 1 bowl of pigs in blankets brought out which wasn't even enough for 1 each, when asked for more we were told they take 20mins to cook. Price is too high for what you get. Won't go again.

Went for Sunday lunch. Not what we expected. Had a table reserved but not set up, no tablecloths etc. Very basic. Meat was ok on the dinner but that's all. Veg awful, looked and tasted like a frozen mix. Would not recommend.

I’ve just spent a really fantastic 4 days here while walking and touring in the High Peak area.
Lee and his team couldn’t have been more helpful - really excellent customer service. Nothing too much trouble.
Meals were all high-quality and well presented but over fussy. Plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians too.
The hotel has a lovely garden overlooking the moors. Many of the rooms also have these views. Rooms are not large but well appointed, very comfortable.
I would definitely booked a return here!
