Whatley Recordon Solicitors, based in Malvern, Worcestershire, delivers high quality legal services to both individual and business clients. We believe in providing sound, sensible and practical advice, an approach that has built both our excellent reputation and led to an increasing demand for our services in family, property, commercial law and in litigation.
We're proud of what we do, so to ensure that we continue to deliver our services of the highest standard to clients we recruit only first class lawyers and support staff. Although many of our clients are based in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, it is evidence of the quality of our work that we have clients across the country - from Devon to Norfolk and Cumbria to Kent - with an increasing number based in London.

Services
Whatley Recordon is based in the heart of Malvern, Worcestershire, in attractive, accessible offices on the side of the Malvern Hills. The firm was created through the merger of three of the oldest and most established solicitors' practices in Malvern, giving us an excellent client base, which thrives as we attract new business.
Our partner Martha Recordon is a family law specialist and the head of our family department. In family matters, it is inevitable that tensions run high at times. So it is reassuring to know that you have our experienced team looking after your own best interests, and those of any children involved.
Our partner David Parry specialises in property law and is the head of our property department. We are located in the centre of three farming counties and act for a number of farmers and land owners. Our partner Benedict Recordon, who with his family operates a 500-acre mixed farm in Herefordshire, is well placed to advise on the sale and purchase of agricultural land as well as inheritance tax planning for farmers.
Moving house is known to be a very stressful time and our dedicated staff will ensure that your transaction is dealt with efficiently and that you will be kept informed throughout the process. Your matter will be handled personally by the allocated and qualified member of the team who will either be a Solicitor or a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with more than 10 years experience.
Our private client department is staffed by a team of four solicitors, delivering an effective, expert service on issues where practical and efficient solutions are important for your peace of mind. As a practice located at the heart of three farming counties, we are well placed to understand the issues affecting farms, estates and other rural businesses.

So glad I chose to go with this solicitor. Not only were they the cheapest but how quickly Julie worked. We have always had a family solicitor that we have used when it comes to houses but I’m waving good bye to that one and saying hello to this one. Really do recommend WhatleyRecordon. Julie you do a fantastic job. Thank you so much.

An excellent service by Julie and her colleague. They were so speedy, responsive and conscientious. I am extremely grateful for the manner in which my sale was dealt with. Having such a professional service is very reassuring whilst going through the uncertainty and demands of a sale process. Thank you so much!

I have used this firm for several years now and can highly recommend Julie Draper (formerly known as Morton). In all instances she has been very professional, quickly responds to any issues and explains them simply and in full detail. Recently used her to purchase our freehold from a developer who tried every means possible not to take responsibility for a discrpancey cause by their contractors. She was persistant and looked after our interests which saved us a great deal of money. You cannot ask for better.

If you want a solicitor that lacks focus and drops things for months on end, even when it puts them in breach of contract, Whatley Recordon are for you. The Great Malvern location might seem convenient, but it ultimately isn't. I wouldn't use them in future and hope never to rely on them representing a counterparty again either.
