Booked for the bar and when we sat down at 7:15 asked the waitress if we could eat in the restaurant at 8pm. Was told yes that is fine and after waiting 15 mins for each round for the 3 rounds that we had the waitress took us through to the restaurant only to be told that our table wasn’t ready.
No problem., after all we could just go back to the bar and get another drink….after waiting another 30 mins without a drink we decided to pay our bill and leave and the staff didn’t even question why we were leaving

Always a really nice meal here.
My only critism would be that I wish the table were a little larger. We were a group of 4 and when we had our main course my plate was overhanging the edge of the table a considerable amount. Still, the food is good, as is the service and the restaurant is always clean.
Highly recommended.

Very nice, we came in between jobs in our engineers work clothes and was well underdressed, everyone was very smartly dressed 🤣 The venue is lovely with very nice decor, nice atmosphere and music. The menu is limited but the food was very good and quite reasonably priced. Good experience and will definitely return if in the area again.

I've been too many restaurants but none as good as this. The service was welcoming and very friendly easily striking up a conversation with us. Yes it can get very busy but the atmosphere stays light and calm. The breakfast was the best meal I've had at a restaurant, i had an omelette and it would be a crime not to reccomend it or any of the breakfast options! I am yet to go for lunch or dinner but i have heard great things. The owner is very friendly and nice to talk to. I'll be back when I've had the lunch or dinner, expecting good things.
