Tara has been my dentist for approximately 7 years at the time of writing, and there are plenty of reasons why I've been going to her for so long.
Tara's personable nature really helps put you at ease as soon as you arrive. Tara always takes the time to explain to you what she is going to do in your treatment, and why it is necessary. She is very kind, patient and reassuring. Tara's supporting staff are kind, friendly and always willing to help. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Tara is SIMPLY THE BEST! I look forward to visiting her, she is kind gentle reassuring and very professional. I have had 4 teeth removed recently, this was done with expert efficiency and no pain involved whatsoever.
IF you are scared about visiting a dentist go to Tara where she will treat you with absolute kindness and compassion and you will wish you had visited earlier! I can finally eat and drink without any twinges and pain its amazing treatment and service at Austen Road.

At the age of 75 I have obviously been seen by many dentists but never have I actually enjoyed going to one until I began to be looked after by Tara. Clearly, I cannot comment on her technical skill but which I am sure is excellent but her real gift are her people skills. She is always able to explain so clearly and completely the situation regarding my teeth so that I feel we are working as a team together to look after them. Also her ability to put me at ease is superb - the last time I was having a regular inspection and clean I nearly went to sleep in the chair I was so relaxed.

Dr. Thomas was recommended to me by a friend in 2009. She's simply the best dentist I've ever had, offering excellent treatment and advice. In line with her philosophy - prevention - she's extremely thorough and committed, making you aware of potential problems very early on so you can stay on top of them. Add to that the fact that she's extremely lovely, open and friendly, and that she and her team create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, putting you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. I honestly always enjoy going back there and would not hesitate to recommend her!

I have been with Tara from when she first opened her own practice and have on every visit been made to feel welcome and comfortable. Her 'chair'-side manner is reassuring and patient when treatment is being done. In fact everyone there is very nice. I will always use Austen Road Dental Practice and I am looking forward to my next appointment!
