THE ISSE IS A UNIQUE, MUTUAL, NOT FOR PROFIT, CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL TRAINING GUIDANCE/QUALIFICATION AND INNOVATIVE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION which was founded in 1976 and is controlled by a scientist level management for the purpose of "Raising Industry Standards in the Pursuit of Excellence" wherever possible deploying a scientific evidence, consumer beneficial, environmentally friendly, common sense and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) orientated approach (rather than the traditionally self-centred manufacturer industry controlled trade association orientated approach that otherwise generally tends to pervade and dominate the industry policies).
Services
The National Aspergillosis Centre (www.nationalaspergillosiscentre.org.uk) has agreed to participate in this part of the aims of the Institute of Specialist Surveyors & Engineers (ISSE) as we have a vested interest in improving the lives of those of our patients who suffer from symptoms that seem to be irritated by their homes, usually damp homes.
