Hi
My family booked to eat Boxing Day. Preordered prior to is arriving, so we expected fresh cooked food. 5 roast dinners ordered out of 8 and the vegetables were hard and the potatoes were reheated from the day before. I did ask for a replacement as l stated that they tasted like reheated from the day before, whereby the waitress stated yes perhaps they were.
The waitress came back with another bowl of roasties, to find they were the same, just reheated.
I ordered an Irish coffee, to have with our desserts, it never arrived.
For a family of 8, it was very disappointing, only because these

I was in the mood for a steak and the plough did not disappoint, the surprising thing is I enjoyed the fried tomato most of all don't usually eat cooked tomatoes but this was delicious. My wife enjoyed her fish and chips and my beer was superb too. We will definitely revisit the Plough, booking ahead naturally.

First time visit to The Plough for a drink and meal. Drinks arrived still in unopened bottles, I poured my orange juice into the glass which was three quarters full of ice leaving the remainder in the bottle, within a couple of minutes the bottle was taken off the table so I said to the waitess that I hadn't finished with it, she didn't hear me as she was already walking off. When she came back I mentioned that I still had drink left in the bottle that she took, her response was "it was empty" . Im not the tyoe to make a scene so didnt continue the convrsation due to the curt response. The waitress

We booked The Plough at Shenstone for Christmas lunch on a Friday.
We ordered parsnip soup and Thai fish cakes to start with followed by the beef and Yorkshire pudding and we finished with the sticky toffee pudding.
I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. The beef melted in my mouth, the mash was creamy and very tasty. Everything was lovely presented and the main was massive.
Service was excellent.
The only downside was the could temperature which is a shame. Such lovely resturant , spoilt by the cold temperature. That's the only reason I haven't given 5 stars. I am hopeful this will
